My Background
I have worked as a Financial Planner and Wealth Advisor for the past 26+ years and have done some work as a wedding photographer. I’m originally from Michigan, but moved to Dallas in 1996 and to the RGV in December of 2021.
My Goal for this website
The goal for RGVJournal.com is to highlight some of the hidden treasures South Texas has to offer and perhaps give you a chance to discover (or rediscover) the Rio Grande Valley from the perspective of someone new to the area. In the coming months I’ll add pictures and stories of local establishments, parks, wildlife and interesting people I meet along the way.
